A Director Board including 10 members is executing the Society’s activities. Out of this, six members are officials and 4 are elected from 4 farms. The details of Director Board is given below.

The Director Board is an electoral body by the voters of 4 farms under this Society. The Secretary of this Society is an Asst. Director rank officer who is posted from ST. Development Department on deputation basis.
Secretary and Manager is working on deputation basis from Scheduled Tribes Department and others are society staffs.
ACTIVITIES
- The important crops in farm are Coffee, Pepper, Cardamom, Clove, Nutmeg, Arecanut, Coconut, Ginger, Turmeric. The society adopts organic cultivation Certified by INDOCERT and do not use any chemical fertilizer and pesticides. Products from the above crops sell through auction procedure.
- Besides the farm products Honey, Kunkilyam etc; which collects from Scheduled Tribes are being sold through Society’s sales outlet. And also this has been sold in India International Trade fare and Trade fares conducted by various departments.
- A High School with 250 students is functioning in Chindakki under the Society for Education development of Scheduled Tribes students in Attappady. The school achieved 100% result for the last 4 years in SSLC examination. A hostel for girls is also working under the Society.
- Another Residential School named ‘Gurukulam Vidyakendram’ is working under this Society for SSLC/+2 failed students. Forty Students are studying in this school. All of them belongs to Scheduled Tribes communities.
- Scheduled Tribes Department has given three pick up vans and one Jeep to the Society. These vehicles are being used for transporting labours and goods.
- Besides the above mentioned institutions there are two Dairy units in Chindakki and Pattimalam farms. Twenty cattles have been cared in these farms.
- Five hundred Scheduled Tribes families are being given job and social security through this Society and natural environmental protection is ensured caring the trees planted in 1092.79 hector.
- The Society is working with the help of financial aid from Scheduled Tribes Development Department under Govt. of Kerala as the income from agricultural crops is not sufficient to meet all the expenditure of the Society. The society can attain self sufficiency expanding production of cash crops and Dairy unit under the society.
