India exports Areca Nut to many countries since it is produced in large amount and it has commercial and economic importance. It is a tropical crop which is famous among India, China and Southeast Asia. The plant is grown in the deep Clay soil, alluvial soil, laterite and red loam. It is requisite to give proper manure for its healthy production. The processed nut is dried in the sunshine and used for several purposes.
